Did you know my husband I just made three years last week.  I still can’t believe it.  When I stop and think about it I am  amazed. I can honestly say it has been some of the best years of my life.  I love having a best friend to walk with me in this journey.  I am excited for the adventures ahead.

Stefan, I don’t know how to write the words to express my love and admiration to you!

I feel at a loss for words as these last couple of months have been crazy,you have been my calm in the storms. You are more then a girl could ask for!  You encourage me, correct me, love me, drive me crazy, but most of all you make me happy!  Your a man who stands by my side just like you promised.  I love watching you become a father,  and seeing how our relationship has changed since we have become parents, and I love it.

Happy birthday sweet boy!  Excited for the many more to come!  I promise I will get your dream kayak one of these days!

This is me and my new little family!  My friend Joanna Tano took these of us.  I just love them.  I started crying the first time I saw them.  I know, but is been a crazy couple of months for me.   Here is what I wrote for her blog.

“Love comes in all different shapes and size.

Three months ago I was wife and a daughter hoping to one day be a mother! Never guessing that my dream would could happen so fast and so perfect!

Three months ago I was asked to help out with a two year old, just thinking I would be babysitting till they could get their feet back on the ground. Two months later I would be signing the papers to make little Le’i ours!

It has been one of the most rewarding journeys ever! I never knew I could love so much and so hard.

The papers have been signed, now we just have to wait till the state can add Eriksson to his name. Thanks to furlough Friday it could take a couple months before they even see the paper work, due to them having to do so much in such little working days!

Le’i you are a dream, your smile, laughter, dance moves and your sweet cuddles are more then I could ever ask for! I am blessed and honored to call you my son and watch you grow up! I may not give you everything you want, but I promise to give you everything you need.

Princess Victoria of Sweden got married last Saturday, I woke up at 3:30AM and met all my Swedish friends for an early morning wedding party. If you don’t know already my husband is from Sweden so I feel this weird connection to the country.  Ask my husband what he was doing at 3:30am! Sleeping he could not believe I was getting up so early to watch a wedding.  I told him I was more Swedish then he was. He rolled over, not the effect I was hoping for.

I thought Princess Victoria was stunning and her hubby just darling. I mean how cute was he with those glasses.  I think it was very GQ!  It will be fun to see if this wedding will have an effect in the wedding trends.

Princess Victoria, your dress was perfect the simple design your shoulder-bearing Par Engsheden wedding gown was just breath taking. Subtly Sexy but not overtly revealing. I love that you wore the jewelry your mother wore on her wedding day, especially since you got married on her exact same wedding date.  Not going to lie your mother wore a very “wow” tiara.

You truly were a glowing bride!

Besides the lovely couple I had so much fun watching all the royals from around the world and seeing their dress along with some amazing tiaras.

My husband and I are really into re-using the things in our apartment. There is not much in our apartment that is new.  One of our favorite place is Re-use Hawaii. It’s an amazing non-profit that re-uses almost everything from your house.

My husband did all the work.  He is the best!

This is what he calls me “Auntie Mom”.

Who is this beautiful child?

His name is Le’i. He is two years old with beautiful curls and big brown eyes. He is a true gift!  He came into our lives needing love, care, acceptance and food!  Right now we are fostering him in hopes it will lead to adoption.

I have had so many emotions, for the first week I was wondering what in the world have I done. I think I cried every day for two weeks, cried for me in fear I will not be able to meet his needs, cried for him in seeing his pain and realizing in the two years of his short life, its been a hard life.

He is a true and pure joy! I have not had this many dance parties, fits of laughter, lack of sleep, loss of tears, and knowing an unconditional love.

Please keep us in your prayers as we emarbk on this new journey, we want what is best for him. Le’i, if we only have you for a season you have enriched my life beyond measure, if its for the rest of our lives I would be honored and deeply humbled to call you my son.

You have tought me this.

Its Monday again, I can’t believe its already the middle of May. It will be summer before we know it.

I am excited for the summer, summer brings love back in the air, after a cold winter.

Not that us Hawaii people have anything to really complain about.

I am so honored and blessed to do what I do, I capture love, the candid moments that are so special.

I get to see the raw emotions.

Life has been really crazy for me these last couple of weeks, I have had so many emotions ( am I doing the right thing..etc).

There are amazing things going on, which I am so excited about yet totally scared.

I can totally say I am growing up!

On the photography note, I have three weddings still to be blogs and a couple random shoots. So be on the look out for some images.
