This time last year, I was trying to figure out if I really wanted to be a wedding photographer.

After this wedding, I just knew.

I am following my dream.

are you following yours?

xoxo

.

For it was not into my ear you whispered

but into my heart.

It was not my lips you kissed,

but my soul.

But i do enjoy all the quotes and things you write from my phone! I’ve been enjoying photography with my village kids. Its so good. Love you!

Charles and Kelly had a sweet and intimate wedding here in Honolulu. They came all the way from New York.  The moments I got to witness were breath taking.  The chemistry these two have is so encouraging. They not only spoke their love to each other they showed it.

I love what Kelly said to me

“The best way to pay for a lovely moment is to enjoy it.”

They are a true example of letting your love shine.

Its Monday again, I can’t believe its already the middle of May. It will be summer before we know it.

I am excited for the summer, summer brings love back in the air, after a cold winter.

Not that us Hawaii people have anything to really complain about.

I am so honored and blessed to do what I do, I capture love, the candid moments that are so special.

I get to see the raw emotions.

Life has been really crazy for me these last couple of weeks, I have had so many emotions ( am I doing the right thing..etc).

There are amazing things going on, which I am so excited about yet totally scared.

I can totally say I am growing up!

On the photography note, I have three weddings still to be blogs and a couple random shoots. So be on the look out for some images.

lots of love, and remember to pay attention to the ones you love.

xo

How cute is this little baby bump!  I was able to shoot Hannah and Matt while in Huntington Beach, California, it was a perfect California day. We shot a lot of the images at Shore Break Hotel. The hotel is so cool, the bottom floor is a surf gallery.  Definitely a must if you are needing a place to stay in Huntington Beach.

They are having a baby boy, no name decided yet.

I can not wait to meet him.

Hannah, honestly you are glowing and just beautiful!

I can not wait to see you as a mom, you are going to be amazing.

Baby K is going to be blessed to have you both as parents.

This week has been crazy, totally crazy.  I have so much to tell you all, but I need to have time, and I have been super short on time.  I am so excited for the future and the plans ahead.  I feel over whelmed with happiness and fear.  A good fear I think.

I am excited I have a wedding on Friday and a couple shoots this week. Plus another 5 of so that still need to be blogged.  Hopefully I can get on the ball.

I am going to leave you with one of my favorite quotes and a picture of coures.  ”We love because it’s the only true adventure.” -Nikki Giovanni

Where do you begin… they are one of the most talented couples I know…. no really!  Russell is a movie producer and Brianna is a designer for Reef.  See what I mean, super talented.  They were here for a friends wedding and stayed a couple nights with us.  Hint: to my friends we love having people come visit us.

I love passionate people, people who inspire you to do more and think about the choices you are making.  They do this for the husband and I, they get us amped even more on life.  Life is good when you are doing the things you love.  Its the journey that is the most important, enjoy it. Be wild about  your dreams and have love ones to share it with.

“Success is never final. Failure is never fatal. It is courage that counts.”-Winston Churchill

This is why we love Russell.

Don’t you just love Brianna’s shoes, I want them.

Who doesn’t love shaved ice?  Summer is approaching fast, and I am thrilled! I know, I live in a place where most people think its summer year around, but there is something different, maybe it’s all the keiki’s out of school.  I am not sure, but I do know summer is my favorite season in Hawaii and Matsumoto is a must! Nothing better then light flakes of ice topped with sugar water.

Happy Sunday.

More to come on their shoot, this was just for fun!
